Vintage plastic baby rattle

Hello,

Can you tell me what type of plastic this baby rattle is made out of?  It is oval or egg shaped with little swirls that go in an upward direction.

Probably bakelite or lucite....I had beads with a similar grain... check here, a link for vintage plastics. Good luck!
