Buyer tried to scam me and i cant cancel the order

I got a message from buyer said to email them first. So I did. Then tried to get me to take payment outside of ebay. So I knew something was up then asked if I would get a prepaid card for them all the buyers on my list i think where the same but with different names because i havent heard from them

It's an obvious scam attempt.  There is never a need or reason to respond to those. 

What do you mean that all the buyers on your list were the same?
