some pieces for more than $300 each, when all I got for identical (yet
better condition) items was around $70. ...
At a guess, the seller probably considered you a problem buyer and
placed you on their Blocked Buyers list. Had they offered you something
further to buy, they may have thought you would leave them a negative
feedback.
