I'm planning to hunker down on the eBay boards starting in the next hour to avoid the presidential debate. Now if there was just a way to avoid the ads. Anyone else opting out?

To avoid the ads, do as I do: Turn of the TV. I watch about 3 - 4 hours per week, mostly PBS, documentaries and British murder mysteries. I get my news online, but never before lunch or after dinner. IMHO these are basic mental heath strategies.

Haven't watch commercial TV for months. Netflix, Prime, and Disney (for the wife).  I can't even watch more than 5 minutes of a football game, 1st commercial break and I'm gone.

It was shameful and I only watched 3 minutes of it.  Reminded me of those spy vs spy in the old Mad magazine.
