Nah ... eBay will be running on empty for a very long time before it allows something like that to happen. Are you familiar with the movie *Weekend at Bernie's*?  EBay IS Bernie.😄

Alibaba is a Chinese company and IMHO the regulatory hurdles they would face in aquiring eBay would be immense.  There is a reason that the vast majority of Alibaba's acquisions have been other Chinse companies and not American ones.
