Vintage Ship Prints

Some moisture ripples. Wondering if they have any value.IMG_0487.JPGIMG_0488.JPGIMG_0489.JPG

Re: Vintage Ship Prints

Hi vintage2voyager,

Yes, they have value.  They're old Currier and Ives prints, right? I sold one a couple years ago.  I think I got about $25 for it.  In all fairness, it did have an old frame, so I don't know if that was a factor.   The crinkling could be an issue for some, but not all buyers.  I believe framers spray glue on the backer board and smooth it out when framing it.  Anyway, good luck.

Re: Vintage Ship Prints

I have one of those of the frigate "Geyser" that I got from a estate sale years ago.

They are desirable. First one is super nice.

I would search each one independently by vessel name and print maker.

Some may have more desirability due to historical significance of each vessel.

Decorators like those, print quality is nice.
