I think the two photos are at very close to the same angle (see below).
Also the 9 in the date of your coin appears to be closed - but it may just be the photography. I don't know what date they altered this from, but they did not make the three correctly, so it can not be a genuine mint product.
You can buy 1943 copper cents for $1.40 each with FREE SHIPPING from China (note: I do not recommend that). They currently have 975 available.
Send it off to PCGS or NGC, and it it comes back as genuine, post back here. If it comes back as not genuine, I'll give you $1 for it to add to my collection of not genuine errors.
