Hi park posters.
The eBay soapbox will no longer be a public board. I hope you don’t mind if we start a home thread from the box here. We will talk about “whatever”. We will also talk about ebay related subjects. Come join the fun.

Neat pictures, Tcm. Glad you had a great time.
Fredi, hope your dad is on the mend for real this time.
Do you think the plumber might have an ulcer?
You sure have been on a merry go round with the hospital.
Dom, those bowls are cute. Are you gonna put real fruit in them or plastic?
I remember going to somebody's house when I was a little kid and trying to bite into a fake apple.
Fruit , I hope C.A.T. has finally got straightened out.
Still get tickled thinking about him jumping for the tub and landing in water.
LOL, Cathy, My mother still has the wax pear that has my front tooth in it, it fell out when I bit it. My aunt gave it to my mother , and she still uses it to embarrass me!

LOL - this is the second time - the first was because I purchased a dozen very fancy Spanish drinking glasses - the whole scheme had to change.
Isn't painting a kitchen the best fun.
The whole kitchen is in the living room - and I'm eating off the floor.
Then the dishwasher blew the outlet water pipe off - water everywhere - blew the protected power - on a Saturday - had to go find leads long enough to go elsewhere - for the fridge & freezer.
And blimey - the TV didn't work - no internet - no downstairs power. LOLOL
Finally asked DD to go see if she could reset the power switch - which worked - but now have a plumber here to fix the dishwasher.
Boo Boo is really enjoying the whole experience.
I hope all in California are safe & sound - so good to see Heron - thought he may be skiing down some Socal Slope.
Shirls - bad storm - so glad it didn't do more damage.
Fredi - Dad is coming along OK??

My latest was buying 2 vintage stained glass transom windows to replace the sad job done by the previous tenant. I had them installed, then painted the hallway "fern frond green" with " jonquil yellow" woodwork. It's a little shocking, lol!

You lost me at ' jonquil yellow ' - hello - that's outrageous. lol
I'm - 3 shades of ' sagey green '.
The appliances are stainless - the benchtops - granite.
Oh - still waiting for the bowls - sheesh - already a month from Albuquerque. 😂

.....must have got an "Uber" ride with your cabbie.
You didn't order them from the "Carmen Sandiago" website, did you?

Dad's coming along, they've diagnosed him with ANCA Positive Vasculitis, not at all sure what this means going forward, the doctor didn't tell me much. I haven't had a converstaion with his kidney doctor, just his plumonogist about this, but the plumonologist said the kidney doctor would be the one who would order a kidney biopsy to confirm the diagnosis. I'm trying to get an update from the hospital to see if he's coming home today or not, but I'm waiting on the nurse to call me back.
Good lord, Dom, hopefully the plumber gets you all figured out. Do you need an electrician, too?
I had to google jonquil yellow that's basically what my dad's kitchen was for a long time! He loves yellow everything!
We may get a bit of sunshine today, but it's not going to get very warm! I'll take the sun, if we get it! LOL

No sunshine here today (14 Mar in Socal). We have received some light
rain. Very much like a drizzle of rain. Enough to get the streets wet and probably cause many fender benders. Heron had planned on pulling some weeds outta the planter areas but alas, that will have to wait. More fun being on the internet anyhow. (Did anyone see the news about the 22 motor homes that fell into the Santa Clara (California) River?)

Here is a link (UNC school of medicine) to information about ANCA Vasculitis, easy to understand, covers what it is, what it does, how it effects the blood vessels and how that affects organs of the body particularly the kidneys since they are highly vascular and filter waste and toxins etc. out of the blood and into the urine. This article also covers how ANCA Vasc. affects other major body systems to include the lungs (may explain why your dad was expectorating blood). A biopsy of the kidney would determine if your dad's kidneys are affected by ANCA.
It is a bit long to read, but well worth the information it holds that would be helpful for you to understand all this before you even speak with any physicians/ specialists/ etc.

Thank you, Shirls, I'll start reading that now! Yes the pulmonologist said that the lungs were just sort of an innocent bystander in this ordeal, but they would need a biopsy of the kidney to confirm. The pulmonologist didn't want to do that right yet, so I'm guessing his kidney doc will wait and do it as an out patient.
Heron, I did not see that and now I gotta go google!

Good morning! We received 18 hours of steady rain. Now the rain has stopped (at least temporarily). Heron needs to correct a 'typo' in his post regarding the RV units that were swept into the Santa Clara River (Calif). It was not '22' it was 3 RVs that were swept into the river. Sorry about that, my hands are getting arthurighteous. It also affects spellin in some persons. The RVs were parked next to the river on what is mainly gravel and sand. The heavy rain 'runoff' wiped out the riverbank causing the RVs to fall into the river. Someone had a cellphone and recorded one RV falling into the river.
Now there are some expensive houses on cliffs and they are beginning to slip slide away down the side of the cliff. Also, Heron saw several recorded mudslides and some motor vehicles stuck in deep goopy mud. The 'mudslide' season generally follows closely to the rainy season. There is also flooding (in the usual places) and small autos get stranded in the high water.

Fredi ~ Another thing I thought of almost as soon as I posted last night......I'm wondering more now just how the anticoagulant may have affected the lungs, and other highly vascular parts. Perhaps a good time to pose this question to the docs. 🤔

I miss the soap box and Town Square, but at least elheron is here!

I think that is what I saw on national news tonight...apparently it happened a couple of weeks ago? If same thing we are talking about? The whole bank just caved into the water! These are such 'dreadful' times with the weather from coast to coast. If it isn't flooding and mudslides, it is feet of snow somewhere else.
LOL at 'arthurighteous'. Not laughing at you, just comical way to put it.

Didn't see that. News showed all the water.
