How do you ship more expensive cards? Do you charge extra for insurance /Confirmation?

Hi all,

I recently got a few cards graded by PSA for the first time. I have a few that may go for over $200-$400. 

How do you ship them to make sure they are not damaged? Do you send them Certified and add insurance? Most cards I see are only charging about $6, so I can't imagine they add extra to confirm it was delivered or add insurance.
