need help with shipping order

I just received notice that I sold an item for $135. The email said the buyer paid $35 shipping. It is through an international shipping hub. When I went to my eBay to view the order it said the buyer paid $11 shipping to Chicago. Why is there a discrepancy and why is the $35 not noted anywhere on the order? Why would it cost that much to send to Chicago? I fees were $17 on the item, and it says I will get $105.

The $11 is for you to ship it to Chicago, and the rest is for eBay to ship it from Chicago to their country.

eBay is taking on the international shipping portion to you.

11 dollars is shipping to the hub. The rest of the money is spent on shipping from hub to the destination.

The upside is that eBay will eat any product returns and you're pretty much guaranteed to keep the money for the transaction.
