Hi, I was searching for a particular jewelry item and came across a Seller who puts the word dropshipping in her titles. She is listed as in USA and seems to ship from the USA as well.
Can anyone think of why Dropshipping or Dropship would be in the title?
Thanks.

Very poor knowledge of English, very vague explanations more or less knowingly unclear?
I wouldn't buy

Transparency. Allows buyers who object to the practice to avoid their listings.
I think it should be required on all such listings.

Because some people get peeved if they don't know an item is being dropshipped? Dunno
Thanks @ymeagainlord, So, if the listing shows the item is coming from or the Seller is in a city in the USA (say California), would dropshipping mean the item would be sent to the Buyer from someone else's city/state/country?

Like any other listing, a seller is able to fill out the item location however he wants. eBay doesn't verify it.
So IMHO you cannot make any conclusions about what any seller says about any item's location.
I suspect that some sellers aren't even told where an item is dropshipped from. And their source might in turn be dropshipping from someone else 🙂

Could be from inside or outside the USA. Could be from Amazon, Wayfair, Walmart etc..
Check their FB received, may tell more of the story.
Thanks, I will do that.

I checked the Seller's feedback. It's great!
Prompt Shipping! Great items!
Only about 9 negatives out of about 3500 feedbacks.

Policy overview
Sellers must be clear and accurate about the location their item will be shipped or picked up from. We don't allow false, inaccurate, vague, or misleading information about the location of an item in the Item location field or description. When listing items for sale, sellers are expected to provide the city, state and country of their item so shipping charges and delivery times can be accurately calculated and communicated to buyers.
Not allowed
Giving an incorrect item location. For example, indicating that the item is in the U.S. when it is actually being shipped from China.
Inaccurate, vague, or misleading descriptions (the city and state or city and country don't match)
Beijing, United Kingdom
Hong Kong, United Kingdom
Worldwide, Singapore
Direct from manufacturer to, United States
Somewhere in Florida, United States

Note that it very clearly says (at least twice) the location of the item, not just where the seller is based.

That ^^^ is misleading. Trinton already told you in one of your threads on dropshipping that eBay only uses that rule to require sellers to pay for return shipping when the item is shipped FROM OUTSIDE OF THE USA. Kindly repond to verify that you understand what you were told, which conflicts with what you seem to continue to want to hold onto even though you are wrong. @chrysylys

Note it also says this - that is never enforced:
Not allowed
Giving an incorrect item location. For example, indicating that the item is in the U.S. when it is actually being shipped from China.
