Need help identifying asian coins

I recently purchased a large collection of old asian coins.  I'm having a hard time identifying them.  Does anyone recognize these?  Are there resources that make identifying them easier?  Thanks in advance to everyone taking the time to give me a hand.

All I know is that they look like the Japanese yen coins I've had (I think the 1 yen coins, so not very valuable as currency, but dunno about as a collector's item).  I bet you'd get better answers over at the Coins board: https://community.ebay.com/t5/Coins-Paper-Money/ct-p/1114
