Is there a way to cancel store but keep account

Does anyone know if there is a way to cancel/close a store but keep

the account?  I am no longer selling on ebay but I still purchase items

from time to time.  Can I close my store and keep my account? Or will

I have to open a new account?

Nothing happens to your account if you close your Store, nothing happens if you stop selling.

Keep in mind that if your Store is on an annual subscription you may have to pay an early cancellation fee.

At the top of every page on eBay is a "Help & Contact" link.

When you click it, it brings up a search box.

Typing "close store" into the search box returns a page called "Close an eBay Store"

That page should answer all of your questions.

@susan43

Yes, you can cancel your Store subscription without closing the account:

If you are on a yearly contract, you may be subject to an early cancellation fee.

Re: Is there a way to cancel store but keep account

Hello!

I'm trying to close my ebay store, but I don't have a subscription.

Every article says to cancel my subscription to close my store but I dont have one.

Any help?

Thanks.

If you don't have a subscription, then you don't have a Store. Just stop listing things.
