Feedback Score is Changing????

As of right now my feedback score is 7288 with 100% positives.

Earlier this morning it was 7289 with one neutral that I received about two weeks ago.

Yesterday it was 7290 with that one neutral.

Today the neutral is not only gone from my feeback (very nice btw) but it is also missing from that buyer's "Feedback Left for Others" page.

I know that as a TRS there are certain feedback protections and benefits that come into play, but I didn't know it included help with neutrals.

Also, that should not be the reason for the drop in my score.

Has anyone else noticed this?  Can anyone think of a reason?

I've now taken screen shots in case it continues to happen I will have a visual record.

My feedback score went down by 1 today too.  All positives here, so I just assumed it was a buyer "no longer registered" that left feedback recently.

Did the neutral come from a buyer that returned an item?  Is so, ebay has given special protections for those since you offer free returns.

Actually it did.  But its been there for over two weeks.  Plus neutrals should not affect the score in either direction.

My feedback dropped by 2 this morning. I just assumed it was older ones dropping off.

I know neutrals don't affect the score.  I was just offering a likely reason the neutral was removed.  Ebay reps said this is done for free return sellers -- weekly or some such timeline.

Old feedback doesn't drop off.  Your feedback score is based on All the feedback you have ever received.  Your percentage is based on the past 12 months.  But the OP was referring to his total feedback score.

There have been reports, more and more, of disappearing feedback.

May be great for sellers, but disillusioned buyers can lose trust in the system when this happens, and good buyers who vet carefully are more liable to wind up in a sub par transaction, so many buyers may just buy elsewhere.

If you are a Free Returns seller, you are protected against negative and neutral feedback, even for SNADs.

Mine just went down as well. Tough enough on eBay these days and now we lose feedback for no reason? Only 10-20% of buyers even bother to leave feedback anymore and now this.  But go ahead, people, make excuses, instead of admitting eBay is a sinking ship.

BTW, they STILL have not fixed the 'request invoice' issue in buyers shopping carts. I've lost multiple sales this month alone because of it.

It's always been that any FB left by a buyer who is removed from the site (NARU) within 90 days vanishes.

No there aren't. Powersellers get a 7 day neutral or negative delay to allow buyers to cool off before leaving feedback, but that's it. TRS get no feedback protections beyond what any eBay seller gets.
