Hi, I’ve been on eBay for 22 years. I mistakenly bid on an item - it’s the wrong size. I sent an eBay message to the seller yesterday when there was 6 days left on the item.
I’ve never had a bid retraction in all my years as a buyer nor seller.
I cannot wear a size -7- I need an size 8.
what do I do to make contact with a seller to retract my bid?
If the seller doesn’t respond… what do I do then?
thank you for your help. Please be kind / I broke my ankle and need to find ‘good’ shoes for when I’m full weight bearing.

Not a thing wrong with one bid retraction in 22 years. Go to your My Ebay page and then click on bids/offers. From there you will see the item you bid on and you can retract the bid. No need to contact the seller.

Actually, sellers cancel; bidders retract. If the seller cancels your bid, it doesn't show on your Feedback record. If you retract the bid yourself, that will increment the count of bid retractions you made over the past year, as seen on your Feedback as a Buyer page.
