Buyer returned different item

Sold a Zelda GameCube game. Buyer immediately said it didn’t work. It just arrived today and of course is not the same game disk. The disk I sold them was almost mint and the one they sent back is totally trashed. I have several photos as proof or evidence that it’s not the same disk I sent. Any chance eBay will side with me as the seller or am i pretty much screwed like I keep reading on here?

Classic return fraud.   It looks bleak however, sellers do win every so often.  There is a slim chance you will win.  Very slim......

Since it's the same game, different disk, it'll be hard to prove what you shipped was the disk in your listings.

If it was a completely different item, you might of had a slim chance.

You can try filing mail fraud, then use that report to appeal the case after the buyer has been refunded.
