Recalled products / merchandise.
eBay keeps very up to date on manufacturer recalls and is quite adept at keeping those items from being listed.
When selling internationally, does eBay also monitor product recalls in other countries and how are any sales of those items handled that were shipped before becoming aware of the recall? Is the seller held responsible for out of country recalled products and how is their return handled?

Great question, I’d check out the research tab under seller hub to investigate sales trends from the past 3 years for eBay first, then head out to look at upcoming sales trends via a google search or those websites mentioned. You can look at seasonal previews or just search for the hot toys items, or film coming out to get a sense of what types of items will be trending in the season.
Plus I’d advise to upload products gradually over a few weeks before the season is fully happening to reach early searchers, buyers, in order to get visibility that way.
Hope that helps,

Why is it so difficult to reach out to potential buyers? Best Offers on eBay expire after 24 hours, even on weekends. When an expired Best Offer is encountered, it is all but impossible to reach the potential buyer that an offer would be accepted. Also, when sending best offers to qualified listings, why is there no way to sort the list or search the list by Custom Label or title?

I am reluctant to post fixed price listings priced between $20 and $80 in the Stamps category because there is no cost-effective way to ship. USPS Ground Advantage is too expensive and the eBay Standard Envelope maxes out at $20. I would list more if the eBay Standard Envelope allowed values up to $100 even if insurance was capped at $20. Why not give sellers of low and medium priced stamps an opportunity to be Top Rated Sellers?

Sometimes packages are delivered but tracking does not.

Similar to the old Global Shipping Program, if the item is not returned to you, then eBay will refund the buyer and you will keep the payment. If an item is found to not be eligible, for ex. the size doesn’t meet the program's requirements, then it could be returned to you and in that instance, you would need to refund the buyer. If an item were to be found to be recalled last minute though, eBay should be taking care of things for both you and the buyer.

Thanks for your question, I think there are a few options when looking at this question, one strategically mixed seller initiated offers and promotions such as a order discount or sale event + Markdown can help with the time between offers and help buyers who are watching your items to see the extra value to them of an offer.
Great feedback, I’m not sure on the “sending best offers to qualified listings, why is there no way to sort the list or search the list by Custom Label or title” but will look into this and see what I can find out for you.
