Ugly planter ID

Does anyone know who made this? The mark on the bottom is faint and I don't see as good as I used to. It's ugly but the auction that sold it had a bunch of expensive collectible glass and pottery. So just checking before I throw it away.

Also, you might be able to enhance the mark by dusting/rubbing with cinnamon
