Rosenthal what is it?

Does anyone know what this is? Is it a drip tray for a platter? It's 11 3/8 inches by 7 1/8 inches.

Thank you!

Re: Rosenthal what is it?

They call it a drip plate for a meat platter, but I don't think that's it.  Just wanted to show you what it goes in:

If it wasn't from Rosenthal, I'd say a microwave bacon pan.  But it probably is drip plate for vegetable snacks.

Re: Rosenthal what is it?

Replacements calls it an oval serving platter with strainer. There's one in the Rosenthal Maria pattern. I also found one by Meissen and some others. so I guess that's it.

Thank you! I kept running across the Maria platter and wondering but didn't know if it would fit. You're the best!
