I’m trying to sell a glass candlestick and in the middle is a pencil lead embedded in it.
I’m assuming it is a reference to lead glass, but I’d like to know the meaning behind it.
Thanks in advance

why? since pencil lead contains absolutely no lead (or lead oxide as in leaded glass)

I’m not a glass expert but I have quite a bit of both leaded and unleaded and I’ve never seen or heard anything about pencil lead being inserted. More like an accident during the making.
