Large Art Deco (?) Vase

Good morning,

Any information you could share about this wonderful vase would be helpful and most appreciated.  It's very large measuring 15 1/2" wide X 11 1/2" in height.  I assume it is art deco (?).  Since this is a low style vase, does this particular style  have a name, low boy or something?  Does the style or finish lend itself to an artist or manufacturer?  Thanks so much for looking -Mary  (((*_*)))

While the style is fanciful I'd say not Art Deco but rather mid-century modern (MCM). 1950-ish.

A clear picture of the underside would be helpful.

Also, it is what is typically called a console vase. A vase to be a decorative centerpiece on a table, a mantel, even a TV if they bought one way back when.

Here's a vase with the same surface pattern, but no ID. I agree, midcentury modern, likely from a California pottery.
