Is this a German Souvenir Plate

Hello I have a 7.1/2" plate of 2 men hunting with 11. IVV Wandertage  1987 Rippberg across the bottom. I tried the German translate for Wandertage -Wander for Days? what dos that mean.  On the back it has Seifert and an address  It is a raised pattern is that called transferware?  Well looks like I don't know much..all I know is the year. That's what it looks like except I don't see two men-I see a father teaching his son.

wandertage means hiking day.  every german town has at least one hiking club.  this plate is a sovenier of one towns day hike.

The son is heavily bearded, then! Maybe the photo doesn't have much to do with the caption, since they are obviously hunting and not hiking.
