Identification on Vase

Help!  Got this vase at an estate sale and have no idea of its origin. It is quite large, with a gloss glaze and is numbered 566 on the bottom. Any ideas?

I beleive it is belgian, 1920s

Wish I could add to md1919's, as usual, spot on evaluation.  Perhaps French / Belgian border, but with just the production number, it's all just speculation.

But at first glance didn't it scream Awaji. until OP flipped it over.
