Help with ID of the 2 women on plate and what is written on it ?

Plate is 5 1.4" and has profile of 2 women with crown at the bottom.  It has letters but I can't read it, I hope you can give me some information. thank you in advance for your help.

Not two women but husband (back/left) and wife (front/right), text reads "VICTORIA & ALBERT".

I couldn't read the writing but recognized Queen Victoria. She was the queen for decades and literally all of the second part of the nineteenth century, most of it in mourning the loss of Albert. Any other marks on there?

*edit* When you hear "Victorian era", that was then. Hopefully the plate is during that but may be a commemorative? I don't know plates either...
