Help with ID of English pottery mark on tea cup & saucer,

I'm surprised that this mark has been so difficult to find! It is a crown with an N. C. inside, and made in England underneath with the numbers 1158. The cup and saucer have an Art Deco era look to me, resembling some Maling pottery I have seen. I though maybe the NC was for Newcastle but haven't found anything looking under that. Is anyone familiar with this mark? Thanks for the help!DSC_0198 (3).JPGDSC_0206.JPGDSC_0207 (2).JPG

I suspect it is an importer or retailer.  this mark is in no reference to english ceramics marks I know.

I don't know the mark but the cup looks like it was manufactured by James Kent Ltd.
