Hello, I have an 8.1/2" Noritake Plate yellow trim with a raised flower pattern. The mark is a wreath with an M in red. I have looked at so many pages of patterns on replacements with no luck. I would love to know the pattern and year. Thankyou for your help.

I don't know if this will of any help or not:

Since there is no pattern name or number included with the stamp I doubt you will ever be able to I.D. it.

Suggest trying Replacements Ltd, here............

.........going to Noritake, and then looking through the dozens of pages of pictured patterns until you find it. If there is a more complete list, I have not yet found it.

Just shows how difficult a question this was. Noritake made thousands of patterns.

Yes you are so right...I have seen some plates that were described as Art Noveau but not mine. I'll keep searching.

I sent photos of my inherited Noritake dinnerware (including a couple of entire pieces, close up of rim, and bottom mark) to Replacements and they came back with an identification of the pattern AND an offer to purchase. I'm not selling to them because I don't want the trouble and expense of packing and shipping, but at least I have a benchmark. Note: It wasn't worth much.

And what was the pattern name?

Janet, not only does the replacement site, not pay much, they want the seller to pay for shipment to them, and shipping a Noritake set is expensive.
