We are small business sellers in Europe, but selling only on eBay.com, we don't have local eBay site. And we have been doing so for 20 years. Then managed payment came and 2 years ago we have been forced into it, can't say it's all that bad, except for one thing - when change was made process changed our account currency to EUR, which is completely wrong and against our will. We list in USD, we sell in USD and we should have account in USD, including money transfers to our bank which accepts USD. At the time (now two years ago) we called support, this was escalated to "higher levels" etc but in the end we were told that account currency can be changed only once a year and even though we didn't change it (system did) we now can't change it back. OK, so one year passed (and then some) and we tried changing it again but no luck, page which allowed this before now reads "Because eBay manages your payments, changes to your currency cannot be made." So, when we had PayPal and other options currency was switchable, now when it should be simpler because everything is managed by eBay directly, now it can't be done? Why? Again, I'm registered on eBay.com only, since ever, had everything in USD since ever, how and why I can't have it any more?
