Where in the World can I find a Bench Seat for my 2012 E350 Box Truck?
I bought a used 2012 E350 Box Truck with 2 Captains Chairs and I want to replace it with a 3-person bench seat and I've had no luck finding one. I contacted UHaul, Penske and Budget resulting in dead-ends. Any suggestions?
Was that truck ever designed to have a bench seat? As in some models came with one and others came with the buckets seats?
Have you tried a local salvage yard? They might have something from a similar truck that would work. There are probably even some national used parts places that might have a larger selection.
I think you're right, Lindy- I've never seen an E-chassis with a front bench- it wouldn't work out too good, as with the engine cover protruding, there'd be no room for the middle passenger's legs.
I have an E250 supervan and I thought about putting a bench seat in it. It would be okay for kids or for keeping my paperwork in oder...
Never pulled the trigger though because I have a divider that keeps my tools from hitting me in the back of the head and there is an access door between the seats that I do use from time to time to get into the rear of the van.
e series NEVER had bench seats-due to inside engine cover(dog house),i retired from a FORD dealer,was there 32 years-not a one did i see,worked on hundreds-motor homes-construction co.-ambulances
Did you ever find a bench seat? I have been seeking a bench seat for my E350 Penske Truck with no luck. Like your post states, U-Haul and Budget uses them but I can't find one.
