Sorry, you didn't buy a trailer on ebay; you bought it from some Scamming Thief that just took your money that you found on Offer Up or Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist or???
That thief then sent you a fake invoice via email.
I'll bet you paid for that trailer with gift cards?

SCAM MAN
eBay had nothing to do with this
NOTHING:
You found this on a different site and there is no trailer. No eBay storage yard.
No eBay insurance.
No shipping of the item.
No nothing but:
A steal of a deal that you got: was to STEAL FROM YOU.
Oh and the helping poor little old me is what sunk the hook into you so they could reel you in.....
Any gift card payments you made: that money is gone gone gone.....
How much did you lose on this???

No, you did not find this trailer on eBay. You did not buy an item on eBay motors.
You found this trailer on a non eBay site and gave your name and address to a scammer who told you eBay was handling the transaction.
They sent you a fake invoice. Real eBay invoices don't even look like that. The phone and email connects to the scammer.
eBay doesn't handle payment arrangements on vehicles.
There's never an inspection period because vehicles can't be returned.
$1000 for a trailer that sells for $6k -$8k and up wasn't a red flag?
Too bad you didn't read gift card terms and FAQS before you purchased them. You don't redeem them by sending a picture of the redemption code to eBay. That's not how you pay with a gift card.
Sorry you were scammed but each site that sells has scam alerts you must not have read.

Even the address does not come when you do a google search.
Sad to say but, you've been scam, and eBay has nothing to do with this.

The Bill of Sale is a fake document.
The Sellers address does not exists.
The Notary Stamp and Signature is fake. It is very obvious that it was copied from another document and pasted into the Bill of Sale.

My daughter used to live in Killeen. Might should have checked that address before falling for the oldest scam in the book. That address is the Lion's Club park.
Nothing you can do. That money is gone and will never be found.
Someone got scammed and posted here not many years ago. The address given turned out to be a U.S. Army headquarters building in VA.

Reporting this thread to moderators for removal.
This has nothing to do with eBay Motors.

Their post isn't inappropriate or against policy.

its called guilt by association
the posters think it has something to do with there predicament so they come here for help
the jewelry section is not full of auto scams so they come to the auto section
ebay is associated with facebook anyways.that is where you need to go to contact an ebay help agent

This is scam related, not motors related.

Obviously the mods dont think so,since they are leaving the threads..no matter how many times you post your objections.

I plan to write to Jamie Iannone the current CEO of eBay with my concerns. I have written to previous CEOs of eBay over the 25 years that I have been a member and had posts restored, policy changed, policy interpreted and so on.
Scams are not the subject matter of this board. Someone buying a vehicle through another means is not meaningful content for this board.
I'm sure in a short time when I write my letter and explain my position, these posts will all disappear.

Yes I did. Is there any way I can recover my money. They used Ebay motors as a shipping process for delivery of a trailer

1600. 00 so I am screwed even if I used ebay cards.
