Saw a story on the news last nite that victims of scammers that paid via western union now can get some of it back. Its a process tho.The article said to go the the western union website or the specific location where the money was sent from for procedure details. And supposedly they are going to put safeguards in to always be able to track it.....(that should of been done long time ago!)...Good luck to those folks who lost ,even if they only get a little.

Helping stupid people get unstupid? Not going to happen. That money bounces through so many places before being removed as cash. WU is going to take the hit for that? Not likely.
The safeguards are already in place, informed employees who say "NO!". Then, the willing victim just keeps going to different places until they get a "yes".
So, now, the scammer gets to say "WU portects your money"? Really?
