Im not gonna say it's impossible but if they're using a post on FB or any other site other than ebay it's a scam. Even if they advertise the vehicle on ebay, they could be genuine but if they or any other person is trying to sell an item n says the only payment accepted is gift cards then it is 100% a scam. Don't think about it Don't ask or even communicate with them anymore. Unless u want to play with them n get their hopes up, give them a # with a 0 bal however many they want. Ppl like this are very stressful n are trying to rip u off. The only revenge u can get unless you're an IT expert with at least a PhD and/or a genius hacker, Im talkin child prodigy recruited by the FBI by 16-17 is to make them think u fell for the scam. The latest one is using FB n posting a silver Toyota Tacoma for $1200 under 100k miles in immaculate shape. One 2003 n one 2006. Olivia n Alicia respectively. I have a computer science degree n tried tracking them and one claiming to be in Phoenix wanting google gift cards or Amazon cards. The ones using the Tacoma claim Minneapolis n W. Virginia n route their email thru dummy accounts n ip addresses. I can't keep up with the loop cause it changes before I can catch it. Stick with ebay online that let's u pay however u want. Anyone demanding gift cards is running a scam. period

they even copy an ebay template n make a fake invoice but it will always ask u to pay in gift cards. That is the key. If they ask for gift card payment, it's a scam guaranteed.

It certainly IS impossible.  You are certainly aware that items listed anywhere else except eBay and stating the sale will go through eBay are part of a scam attempt.  It does appear that you know that by the remainder of your message.

Again, why imply that this could be possible?

EBay does not hold vehicles...eBay does not ship vehicles.  But that super low price....
