Can Anyone provide ANY INFO about this Vintage Man's Ring? It has what look like WWII BOMBER PILOT WINGS at the Sides, with HORSE HEADS at Top, *but* The Inside is stamped "Mexico" ?? TYIA

These are not bomber pilot wings just standard Army Air Service wings

Now The USA did have a deal with Mexico on training and aircraft WWII
Mexican Expeditionary Air Force

If they adopted the US version of wings, not certain back then.
Pretty certain that has nothing to to with the US military
or a bomber
other than some kinda good luck ring.
Since there were a little more than 300 volunteers;
30 were experienced pilots and the rest were ground crew
Would make sense in WWII that they would have worn US military insignia
Maybe even had someone make them a good luck ring?
Just my opinion

Could be that the ring was made in Mexico (there are and were many jewelry makers in Mexico). My bet is that it is a custom made ring for someone who was in the Air Corps and enjoyed Horse Racing. Whatever the story its quite an interesting ring.
