Native American vintage pendant - partial hallmark?

Trying to figure out who might have made this - the left side of the hallmark seems partially obliterated, there does seem to be some letter or symbol in front of the "AL" - any ideas? thanks

Can't help ID but looking at how the mark and what is left of STERLING line up on the right, I would have to bet there are more than 1 letters to the left of AL. I would imaging the mark and the word STERLING probably are the same width when complete. Just a comment, I don't know if it helps.

Nice pendant but it needs a good cleaning and polishing, looks like a lot of fuzz stuck on the front
