Return Help Please

I no longer sell here, and have not kept abreast of the recent changes.

I need to return something I just purchased because it is damaged.

Is there any way to arrange for a return without causing harm to the seller?

He's new with only one feedback. I don't know if I can even contact him about it without resulting in a defect for him.

Go into the original listing and click contact buyer.  That should let you through without going into eBay's sneaky return system. 

It's nice of you to make the attempt to help out a new seller.
