Mystery Jewelry Mark - 18K Ring - Marked K

This is nearly impossible to look up online, i hope someone can ID it.

the ring is 18K solid white gold and the mark is simply a capital "K"

i thought it might be Kay jewelrys, but it's not their mark.

Any leads?

Mediocre hand fabricated setting,possibly Asian/student work.Bead settings of small stones looks to have been done by a non experienced beginner.The main stone has a fat belly and no real crown,could be "native cut" synthetic.
