How long do I have to decide to relist an unsold item before ebay deletes the listing permanently?

Is there a way to keep a listing (tropical plant) in 'unsold' for 6 months during the winter and move it to active sales for 6 months, then back to 'unsold'?  I just talked to an eBay rep who said to put it in unsold and it will always be there. BUT, I'm reading here that they are not accessable after 90 days.

I used Turbo Lister to solve this problem in the past because the listing was on my hard drive but eBay is abandoning Turbo Lister.

Is there a better way to solve this problem instead of moving a seasonal item to the unsold category?

Not that I know of..but you could: copy and paste all the information in the listing...save the photos..and it would be an easy drag and drop for a new listing 6 months later.
