Please help me identify style and era on four women’s hats

Hello, thanks for looking. I have these four hats, which were all acquired from the same person. As you can see, the first one still has a tag from Gimbels, and there was a Gimbels Kaufman’s in near me in Pittsburgh as early as the mid 20s. The tag on the last one is sewn shut, but I believe it may be Elizabeth Ford, judging by the similarity to a known tag to what is showing.

Any help you can offer with regard to approximate era, the style, or any other help describing or appraising them would surely be appreciated. 🙂

Re: Please help me identify style and era on four women’s hats

The first is a 50s toque and rides on the top of the head (thus the clips).  The second is a mid-late 60s topper - Adolpho started this line in the early 60s but it was 'outsourced' and continued active sometime after that, the third is a 60s jockey, the fourth is a turban, early to mid 60s.

Unfortunately, hats of that period are very plentiful and you may be better off lotting them up, though the Elizabeth Ford is a standout and you might offer it separately.

Hi, they all look/appear to be from the 60s; I am not sure if this will work, but this seller is an expert on hats @chapeau-noir  . . . hopefully, she will pop in to assist further.

The pink and navy straw hats are pure mid-1960s.  The pink one is a bowler.  The navy is based on a newsboy cap.  The other two -- a pillbox and a turban -- are earlier.
