DB LIFE linen dress with RN Number which stands for Liz Claibourne

I got a beautiful linen dress with a label as DB LIFE.  I always thought it was Dana Buchman's collection.  But it has RN number 52002  which seem to belong to Liz Claibourne.  CA number 30427 - I do not even understand what that company is.

I am keeping the dress for myself, so I am not super-concerned because I am not going to list it, but just trying to understand.

Anybody has any idea why RN number would be Liz Claibourne for Dana Buchman dress?

db Life was a Liz Claibourne brand.  Dana Buchman was owned by the Liz Claibourne Corporation before it was owned by Kohl's.  Dates below.

your link is not working but I was able to browse the site. Thank you very much, it was very interesting. I know very well Dana Buchman old label before Kohl's and loved her quality. Kolh's quality is really nothing special left in her clothing.

DB LIFE - I see it second time in my life :). The quality is exceptional. Too bad Dana Buchman is not what it used to be.
