Help with age and place of origin of tole ware box

Any information on this tole ware box is appreciated. It is 6 and 1/2 in by 2 and 3/4 in. Thank you

Looks like an 18th century (or style, not sure without seeing it up close) tin tea caddy. I believe it's 19th century made to look 1700s. Without a lock on it, and as lightweight as it is, these features point to a later date rather than earlier.
