I can not find any other silverplate on eBays listings under sold or active selling that have a box or cube with the word "Oneida" on all visible sides. What am I missing here? Is it a box? is it a cube? Is it on my serving pieces because it is made in Canada?
The "cube" is called a "tessera hospitalis" and was adopted as a trademark by Oneida in 1965, so your pieces were not made before that. Has nothing to do with which country they were made in.
