HOLA Heysoos! Thank you for posting a pitcher of one el Heron's most favorito coins! el Heron has 2 of the 1 Batzen Vaud but neither one is in such a high grade as that you depicted...
AND NOW FOR SOME MUSIK:
Who can ever forget this ballad: Staggerlee
First published in 1911.
Recorded by many artists since 1923 - the first recording was by Fred Waring's Pennsylvanians.
However, it was the 1959 recording by Lloyd Price that hit NUMERO UNO on the chart!
"The night was clear
And the moon was yeller
And the leaves came tumbling down...
I was standing on the corner
When I heard my bulldog bark,
He was barking at the men,
Who were gambling in the dark!''
This is a ballad and has many versions. However, the Lloyd Price hit is the one el Heron remembers!
A great version [opinion].
Perhaps every cantina in the USofA was rocking that year with that song? Do you remember that year?

Time for one coin
1832
ARGENTINA. 8 Escudos, 1832/1-RA P. NGC AU-58.
Fr-2; KM-21; CJ-17; La Onza-1566. Although some references suggest the existence of both a clean date and an overdate for this year, this is not the case. There is only one date side die for this issue which can be easily identified by a small bulge near the "2" of the date. As stated in Jansen, the reverse die from 1831 was re-worked in 1832, hence all examples of this date are overdates.NGC AU-58.
