More Australian items in my birthyear collection

the top 3 rows are ferry tokens... top row are quarterly tokens for PJ & MSS Co and the 2nd row are semi-annual... third row are quarterly tokens for SHF... i don't remember offhand what the two ferry lines names are, but google can be your friend if you want to know...

4th row... first 2 are hand-painted and sold by Aboriginal artist David Dunn... then a clipped florin (if you look closely you can see the Blakesley effect) and a hanging medal from the Canberra Jubilee...

Wow!  Some really neat items in that batch!

(Steamship company could be the Port Jackson & Manly Steamship Co.

  Sydney.

The company had some really neat looking ferry boats operating until

1968.  Ferry boats built in Scotland in the 1920s.  Yes Googly is extremely

helpful).   Heron has a few extra minutes this morning due to sheltering

at home per ORDERS of Gov Gav.

Heron is truly surprised at all the 'dated' items found~!  Heron has been able to acquire ONE 1936 item in the past year.  A medallion issued for the 1936 olympic games in Germany.    The search continues though.  Perhaps someday another item will be 'found'...?   (The 'search' keeps us alert).
