Marktgemeinde Stammbach 25 Pfennig 1917.4

5 Jan. 2024- Greetings to all coin, token, medallion, & paper money collectors, where-ever you might be. (Attention: This note is NOT FOR SALE.)  Another neat small item added to Heron's small accumulation:

Type: Local Gutschein issue (gutschein=good coupon).

Date Issued= 5 May 1917.

Marktgemeinde = Municipal market town.

Printer: Himmer GmbH Druckerei & Verlag, Augsburg.

Druckerei = printing company.

Verlag= publishing company.

Attention: This nice small note is NOT FOR SALE.

Stamm = tree trunk (truncus) and many other stem items.

Bach= brook or stream.

Colors of note= black Gothic font on dark blue underprint.

Also a '25' underprint in color red at center of note.

Population 2022= 2,345. (Not near the lowest population of any

coin or token or paper money in Heron's accumulation, however,

it is a somewhat obscure location).

Ref: N#248359. and #S-100.6d.

Numista has rarity Index of 100. Wow!

A nice photo is available at the Numista site.

Note: If someone decides to view the note depicted at Numista site

there will be a difference in colors.  Probably due to scarcity of ink during 1917.

This note grades XF.

Stadt Stammbach is located about 235 miles East of Landau.

Landau in the Rheinland.

Note: not much history available.

Note: This nice example of paper money IS NOT FOR SALE.

**Another fun addition to the fun segmento of Heron's accumulation

of numismatic items.  This is a great hobby and also a lot of fun near

the end of collecting! And the search continues onward.**

Attention: This Stammbach monnaie is NOT FOR SALE.

The size of this Stammbach note is: 78mm x 58mm.  Do not know why this was 'missed'. Probably just old age!
