looks like the diesinker was A.E. Schmidt Co. in St. Louis Mo., wondering if it's the same company as A.E. Schmidt Billiards in St. Louis Mo. that's been in the same family since 1849 and is still in business...

The eyes are getting alt but Heron even used a magnifying glass and

it looks like S I D E L L   ILL.   Heron does NOT want to get crosswise with

good Amigos that like to discuss coins and tokens and paper money.

Perhaps the town's name can be examined by someone with better

eyesight to confirm if it is S I D E L L ?

(NOTE: There is a town in ILLinois by the name of Sidell.).

(NOTE: There once was a website 'catalog' of 'good for' tokens. Heron

                cannot remember the name of the website).

In any case, it is a neat 5 Cent token.  (even using just 1 eye today).

A small comentario here:  In Heron's younger years he consumed

a bit of that Joe Crow Special adult beverage.   (aka Jose Cuervo

Especial).   Very smooth and tasty it was!   Have not had a drap of

adult beverage(s) since 1998.  The memory is fading a bit now).

Okay!  Thanks.  Heron understands now.  (As for rising early, el Heron has been waking at 0430 to 0500 every morning!   Must have something to do with the angle of the sunrise?)

Hahaha!! I had to do a double take as I’m from Slidell, La. We’ve been mostly fortunate since Katrina. Praying for a calmer hurricane season than last year. 😅
