I was looking at a Hobo Nickel which was beautiful and, as always, others appeared underneath my item offering more options in carved nickels for sale. There was one that I found very offensive and was very surprised that ebay would allow such a picture like this for sale. I, along with my husband and friends can take jokes as well as the next one , however, we all feel that this is just plain filth. Yes, there are carved "coins" depicting women with exposed breasts, and if guys think this is "hot" ,.....oh well !!! This is Much worse and definitely belongs in the category of "porn". Let's keep this king of "Trash" off of ebay. It is much to nice a selling and buying site to bring it down with this garbage. Wondering what I am talking about.....??? Look at a Hobo Nickel by a True artist and the filthy one may come up in the lineup underneath for more buying options. The "slogan" is horrible. Please.....keep this kind of garbage off of ebay and put it where it belongs.....in the dump.

"vulgar" coins/modified coins are not unknown in numismatics... a popular one from the mid-19th century was to change the E in CENT to the 21st letter of the alphabet on the reverse of large cents... there are also potty dollars... both are relatively easy to find...

in 1916 and 1917 some people had an issue with Liberty's bare breast on the Standing Liberty Quarter... hence Type I and Type II 1917 quarters...

if the nickel in question is an actual hobo nickel and not a modern job, it's art... just like nudes from the old masters... would you throw a Rubens in the trash because it offended your sensibilities?

FYI, actual porn is sold on ebay... these items are not even close...

If Heron became owner of a Rubens (or any other valuable item) he would put it up for auction quickly. (Sitting here thinking of all the coins & tokens a person could acquire from the auction proceeds!)...

I have not looked into what constitutes listing violations lately, but if you think it is a listing violation, and report it and it is not getting removed/moved, you can muster support in chat rooms by giving an item number and what boxes you checked to decide it is a violation. Other than that, welcome to the internet. I'm off to troll the hobo nickels category. I always said I stopped going to youtube because I was two clicks away from soft core porn.
