Unable to buy items with no clear restrictions

Hello! Yesterday I tried to buy a product but got the message error ''we are sorry, but the item you selected may not be purchased due to seller shipping restrictions or due to country-specific import/export or other relevant restrictions''. Tried to buy said product from other offers and got the same message. I contacted one of the sellers, who then informed me there are no restrictions and that services/shipping are available for my country. I was also told to look for system glitches on my end.

If anyone ever had to deal with this, how did you solve it? Thanks in advance!

I believe your initial question of a bug with eBay is the most likely reason for the trouble you have found. As a seller, we have seen in the last month several buyers trying to purchase through EIS and then getting messages as the OP described. We have have no restrictions, and have checked with each inquiry. Ultimately it was found that there was an error with EIS.  

Being that we sell many items through EIS each month, this appears to be a small issue, but it does occur.
