Hello everybody. 

 

I have an issue with the payment. I can't pay for any items on eBay. Im receiving an error message "Please check your payment details or use a different payment method." Ive tried different ways to pay such as app, website, apple pay, credit card, google pay and so on. Ive also cleaned the browser cache and i also used Safari instead of Chrome. It happened suddenly, before this i have been paying without any problems.

Let me inform everybody problem has been resoled incredibly accidentally.  Although i haven't seen the reason why my payment was declined i found the solution. Problem was that some of my credit card was expired but i haven't seen any notification about that so I had to delete them to pay without restrictions by other cards. I suppose that is really serious bag.

Perhaps your eBay buying privileges have been revoked.

Any luck if you sign in to ebay.ca and try to check out and pay there?

 

To rule out a network issue, try using another device while not connected to your local network.

 

Do you have more than one eBay account? If so, are you able to purchase using another account?

 

Are you able to purchase as a guest?

i've been using eBay for 14 years without any problems until now.

Actually, your feedback left suggests something different.  Did you try any of the suggestions provided to you by @eburtonlab  in message #4?

I've tried different devices. With and without wifi. I don't have another account. I can't purchase as a guest.

eBay does not notify anyone when their credit card has expired.  Not sure whether or not credit card companies notify you.  In my experience, they just send you a new card, or at least Discover does.

Hi everyone!

I'm receiving the same erorr during this week and it's work so randomly, on one day I can Pay for one item and the I see an erorr againon another day I can't pay for any item

Support do not know how to help me and told me that it's a bank erorr

But I'm pretty sure that it's some checkout limit

Could you please suggest something how to resolve it ?

Have you tried any of the suggestions in this thread?

 

Have you verified that the seller ships to the UK?

Have you tried another payment method?

Have you tried another browser?

Have you tried buying from another seller?

Have you tried buying using the eBay app?

Have you tried another network?

Have you tried checking out on ebay.com or ebay.ca?

Have you tried checking out as a guest?

Thank you for following up and letting us know how this was resolved. A lot of posters come here to address an issue and then aren't heard from again beyond the first post,  so no one learns how ( or if) the problem was solved, nor whether any suggestions made by members worked.

 

This is a particular issue if it is a common problem that other users may be having.  Its tough to follow through a thread dealing with an issue that they are having and in the end are left hanging.

 

So, anyhow, thank you for the follow-up.👍
