I entered negative feedback for a seller who sold me a defective item. I am certain that he knew it was defective. Even though I got a refund, I gave the seller negative feedback because he was deceptive. But Ebay removed it and would not explain why. I gather that increasingly Ebay removes negative feedback.
I would welcome your thoughts.

It looks like you gave them a positive then later said it doesn't work

It depends what the feedback said. There are guidelines. Did you mention the refund or a case? Did you call them any names?

That was a different one.

What makes you think seller knew it was defective?
Was it new?
What is the feedback count of the seller?

Another reason for removal could be seller protections.
Top Rated Sellers sometimes get them automatically scrubbed when they do a full refund depending upon the particular return case
