Mine still works. Sorry... I hate a glitch as much as anyone.

"Complete loss" is kind of dramatic for a periodic glitch.

When you dine with leopards, it is wise to check the menu lest you find yourself as the main course.

Oh, but this is the internet where over dramatic lines are a prerequisite....

Yes, everything is "epic", "a complete nightmare", etc.

I'm not even sure it is a glitch or if it is logging in from multiple devices.

Whatever.

If you are getting repeated requests for a Captcha or sign-in, that might indicate a problem with your browser retaining cookies, or a change in your network settings (or a VPN issue if you are using a VPN).

If you normally keep your cookies and use the "keep me signed in" option, check your sign in preferences here (formerly found in site preferences):

https://accounts.ebay.com/acctsec/security-center/signin-preferences

I am able to search for sold or completed items without signing in to eBay at all; there is nothing inherent about searching completed items that requires signing in unless you are a seller viewing your own items through a selling page.

I'm getting fed up of having to repeatedly click on all the images of trucks or crosswalks only to be told 'the images don't match' and have to go through the whole procedure 3 times to log in. My sign in preferences are also set as eburtonlabs suggests above, so it ain't anything to do with them.

I also was asked to do  a silly captcha to look at sold listings. It's weird, when I go to ebays home page it says I'm logged in despite the captcha fails. I can use the community forums, browse items on sale, but can't look at my own listings or other sold items. I'm starting to seriously consider alternatives to ebay now despite using it for many years with hardly any issues. It's as if this year it's slowly being destroyed from the inside. Sort this out ebay!
