There seems to a huge increase on scammers listing items they don't have and never shipping them. Of course you are protected if you open a case on time, but what a huge waste of my time to have to do this! And of course, eBay won't do anything about it and reaching one of their rude customer support people is a task in itself.
THIS IS WHY NOBODY WANTS TO USE EBAY FOR ANYTHING ANYMORE!
